How long does the process take?
Once Zume Design Inc. receives the first payment from the agreed contract, Zume will begin work immediately. Depending on the nature of the product (logo, stationary, website, etc...) the delivery date will be specified in the contract provided. How will I see my samples?
We will provide a username and password to access a private area on our website. Here you will be able to view your samples and select the design concept you would like to pursue. We will date each sample and leave each variation online during each phase so that you can always go back and access previous design samples.
What are Samples?
Samples are different styles for your new logo, website, brochure, or marketing product you are choosing to develop. Depending on your needs, will have various styles to choose from.
Who retains the rights to our logo?
Once the final logo is in your possession, you own all rights to the image. We strongly recommend that you contact your lawyer and take the necessary steps to protect your new image. This will deter other businesses from "borrowing" your logo style.
Can you clean up my existing logo?
If you have an existing logo and would like it cleaned up, no problem. Please indicate that this is a clean-up project when you fill out the Logo Information page.
GENERAL FAQS What if I don't like any of the samples?
To help prevent this from happening, we ask that you be as detailed as possible when filling out our ProjectInformation page. If you have a vision for your new logo, website, brochure, etc.., PLEASE convey this to us.
What is a Revision?
A revision is a minor graphical alteration to your sample design, not an entire redraw. This allows us the opportunity to tailor your new image exactly the way you want it.
Zume Design, Inc. often offers a certain number of designs depending on the project. Each project allows for
1 iteration on the copy once placed into the marketing piece/website. To avoid additional copy change charges, please provide finalized spell checked/grammer checked copy before the project begins.
What is your Guaranteed Satisfaction policy?
We want you to be completely satisfied with your logo/marketing materials and website. If you want to cancel the process (before the first round of revisions), simply let us know and we will refund half of your package price.
What file types will I recieve?
We will provide you with a .ai (illustrator file) or .psd (photoshop file) and .jpg file for your logo and marketing materials. We will provide all source files created for your website. If you require additional files, please let us know and we'll add those to your file.
How will I receive my files?
After we have finalized your files, you will be linked to a private page of our site where you can download your files. We recommend that you make a hard copy of these files.
You can also request your logo design to be delivered on a CDROM. The charge for a CD delivered to your home via Express Courier is $40.00. Please note that we do not profit from this, as the $40 charge covers our costs to create the CD and the postal charge to get it directly to your front door.
If you choose to pre-pay the $40 to get your logo on a CD, please select that option during the signup process.
